The Story: This classic teddy bear pin design was made by Marcel Boucher (design number 8091P), also made once again by D’Orlan Jewellers - design number 5477. In 1979, Marcel Boucher’s company was sold to D’Orlan Industries of Toronto, Canada. D’Orlan legitimately reproduces many of Boucher’s jewels because they use Boucher’s original molds. Not certain the affiliation between D’orlan and FAC other than they are both Canadian, but certainly the same bear design.
