The Story: This is a book piece design by Canadian designer Sarah Coventry called ‘Satin Petals‘ and was produced in 1964. It was a massively popular design at the time and stayed in production until sometime in the 70’s – Also, the design made desirable again when worn by the utterly inimitable Joan on the show ‘Mad Men’
