Chinese Fu Talisman Bagua Coin Fringe Green Aventurine Goldstone Antiqued Copper Artisan Hand Strung Matinee Necklace
Materials and Features:
Chinese Fu Auspicious Pendant: A powerful centerpiece of 1970s ethnic revival artisan jewelry. This features a substantial, open-work circular focal pendant crafted from antiqued copper alloy, displaying the central Chinese character 福 (Fu), which traditionally represents complete blessing, good fortune, and happiness. The lower rim is anchored with a curved, structural scrollwork footer that stabilizes the drop against the chest during wear.
Gemstone Aventurescence Layout: The strands are hand-strung with an alternating sequence of natural green aventurine quartzite and shimmering copper goldstone. The light reflecting off the internal chromium platelets in the green aventurine creates a beautiful, natural mottled sheen that dynamically contrasts with the intense micro-sparkle of the suspended copper flecks.
Geometric Micro-Fringe Tassels: The lower bodice is engineered with hand-strung drop fringe tassels utilizing a variety of geometric shapes. The layout mixes precision-cut goldstone cubes, flat discs, and smooth rounds anchored by coiled brass loop finders to allow fluid, independent movement for each drop.
Double-Sided Talismanic Dangles: Accenting the stone fringe is a series of non-magnetic antiqued bronze charms. The drops feature a combination of traditional Chinese square-hole cash coins and octagonal Bagua amulets displaying the eight sacred trigrams surrounding a central Yin/Yang matrix, all stamped with clear, crisp double-sided details.

The Story: The 福(fú) pendant is an auspicious character. Its original meaning is (God) blessing, and later it extended to mean complete, blessing, good fortune, happiness, luck. Aventurine is known as the stone of opportunity, believed to bring luck and optimism, while Goldstone is a man-made shimmering glass prized in crystal healing as a powerful stone of ambition, courage, and motivation. It blends the spiritual properties of glass (transformation) with copper (energy conduction) to help manifest desires and shield the aura from negative energies. Combining Green Aventurine and Goldstone creates a potent synergy of heart-centered growth, grounded ambition, and dynamic manifestation. This pairing unites the "Stone of Opportunity" with a stone of ambition, merging emotional healing with the drive to achieve material and spiritual goals.
