Art Deco Asymmetric Hexagonal Rhodium-Plated Pavé Rhinestone Halo Black Onyx Lucite Cabochon Pierced Earrings
Materials and Features:
Bezel-Set Core Architecture: A masterclass in 1980s structural evening fashion. This features a thick, custom-cast asymmetric hexagonal base metal frame meticulously engineered with an elevated central bezel wall. This internal rim permanently sockets a high-gloss, midnight black oval Lucite acrylic cabochon, perfectly mimicking genuine black onyx gemstone slices while maintaining a comfortable, lightweight drape on the ear.
High-Density Pavé Halo Framing: The perimeter features 42 individually handset, clear round brilliant-cut glass crystal rhinestones. Each stone is nestled tight within micro-prong cup wells and backed with a reflective silver foil layer to supercharge light refraction, creating an intense, uninterrupted halo shimmer that beautifully contrasts with the deep, liquid-black central cabochon.
Engine-Turned Hatch Reverse Casting: The structural reverse of the chassis is finished with a molded diamond waffle-grid texture. This specialized boutique technique maximizes surface cohesion during the plating process and prevents visible surface scratching or metal friction flaking, giving the earrings an exceptionally clean, premium reverse profile that feels luxurious against the skin.
Triple-Layer Rhodium Plated Finish: The base metal chassis is heavily sealed in a thick, mirror-bright rhodium plating. This premium, platinum-family finish provides exceptional resistance against surface tarnish, dulling, or chemical pitting, ensuring the bright silver luster remains brilliantly preserved over decades of wear.
