A magnificent and rare Victorian Revival Chatelaine-style brooch, likely of Czech or Austrian origin. This piece features exceptional layered metalwork and a vibrant, "gemstone" palette.
The centerpiece features a large, prong-set apple green "imitation chrysoprase" glass cabochon with a smooth, polished finish.
Gemstone accents are ornately set with a mix of Jet Black and Emerald Green faceted rhinestones, all held in traditional high-prong "crown" settings.
The dangle is a sophisticated gold-tone swag chain which suspends two matching pale jade-green glass beads, adding elegant movement and a "Chatelaine" silhouette.
The metalwork is Intricate, ruffled stamped gold-tone filigree frame with a bright, non-tarnished finish.
