The Story: Ben Gartner was the founder of The Circle Jewelry Company of New York. The company produced good quality costume jewelry and began marketing it under the Goldette name in 1958. Some early pieces may be marked Goldette NY. The jewelry was popular through the 1960's and 1970's until Goldette production ended around 1977.
